The Tissue-Tek Glas G2 Glass Coverslipper is the latest revolution in glass coverslipping. Its ability to link to the Tissue-Tek Prisma® Automated Slide Stainer, its high reliability, quality, user convenience and low maintenance rate make the Glas G2 the most progressive and valued system on the market.
Enhanced features create a true walkaway staining and glass coverslipping combination for those labs that require glass for their slides. The patented Mechatronics™ mechanism ensures the prevention of any damage to the cover glass and tissue and gives a bubble free result.
Furthermore, the availability of 9 coverslipping programs and 8 different coverslips ensures a glass coverslipping process which delivers the highest possible quality and flexibility.
After coverslipping, the slide is transferred to a different basket to speed up the drying time and prevent sticking. The baskets will be transferred to the unloading station which has a total unloading capacity of 12 baskets with each 10 or 20 slides, with an unloading maximum capacity of 240 slides.
